Apple just announced its new summer releases for iPhone.  As far as I am concerned there were two big things to consider iPhone 3.0 software update and new 3GS model.   

First 3.0

3. MMS
4. Spotlight search
5. Internet tethering
6. Voice memos
7. Stocks app with charts and company financial
8. YouTube account login
9. Improved Exchange calendar integration
10. Buy movies, TV, shows, and audiobooks
11. Autofill for username and passwords in Safari
12. Stereo Bluetooth for headphones and car kits
13. Auto Wi Fi login
14. Sync Notes
15. Parent controls
16. Multi user iTunes account login
17. Shake to shuffle iPod song
18. New languages
19. Mobile Me – find my iPhone and remote wipe features

The new iPhone 3GS(speed) will come loaded with 3.0 and include these additional features.

1. 32 Gig
2. 2x faster
3. Video recording feature 
4. 3 megapixel camera with video recording and editing
5. Voice controlled dialing
6. Compass
7. Accessibility for differently abled folks
8. Nike + iPod

So I ask you.  Is is worth paying for a new iPhone if it only comes with 8 new features?  I am thinking my 3G will work just fine.  when I need the extra gigabytes, I’ll buy it.
